To strengthen the integration of theory with practice, the Faculty of Finance and Banking—supported by CFO Vietnam—organized a company visit and practical learning experience for students of Cohort 62 from the Advanced Program in Finance and Banking. The visit was hosted by MISA Joint Stock Company, a leading enterprise in financial technology solutions.

During the session, students had the opportunity to engage with two experienced professionals in the field of finance and accounting:

  • Ms. Nguyễn Thị Ngoan – Chief Financial Officer of MISA JSC, concurrently General Director of JetPay JSC, and a member of CFO Vietnam.

  • Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Bình – Head of Training Partnerships, MISA JSC.

Key highlights of the visit included:

  • An overview of MISA’s organizational structure and the functions of its departments, with a particular focus on the finance division and the strategic role of the CFO.

  • Career orientation and a discussion on essential skills for finance and accounting students in the context of the growing application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the industry.

This visit provided students not only with a close-up view of a professional working environment, but also the chance to ask direct questions about real-world job functions, recruitment requirements, and emerging career trends in tech-driven companies like MISA.

This activity represents a significant step in bridging academic knowledge with practical business insights. It helps students better define their career paths, enhance critical thinking, develop relevant skills, and gain a clearer understanding of how technology is reshaping the financial landscape.

The initiative also reflects the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative and practice-oriented learning experiences, following the Triple-Based Learning model: Case-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, and Game-Based Learning.
