On December 24, the atmosphere in Room A901 was filled with excitement as first-year students of the Advanced Program (K64) attended the “FTU–FHNW International Transfer Program Roadshow” — marking an inspiring start to their academic journey at FTU. The event was jointly organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking (FFB), the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), and FBF Alpha as a warm welcome to the new cohort.
The Roadshow was honored to welcome FHNW representatives:
Dr. Teresa Freiburghaus, Director of the FHNW Transfer Program;
Prof. Charlotte Hofstetter, Head of Education at FHNW;
Prof. Markus Freiburghaus, Lecturer at FHNW.
From the Faculty of Finance and Banking, distinguished attendees included:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Việt Dũng, Dean of the Faculty;
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trần Trung Dũng, Vice Dean;
Dr. Nguyễn Thu Thuỷ, Head of the Banking and Monetary Studies Department;
together with faculty members, parents, and a large number of K64 Advanced Program students.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Việt Dũng offered heartfelt and insightful reflections. More than encouragement, his message conveyed trust in the journey each student is about to embark on — one requiring determination, resilience, and continuous learning. For many, these words may well become meaningful guidance throughout their university years.
In the subsequent sharing session, FHNW representatives Teresa Freiburghaus and Charlotte Hofstetter presented an overview of the FTU–FHNW international transfer pathway and introduced Switzerland’s rich culture and education environment. From academic structure and practical learning opportunities to research prospects and cultural experiences, every element opened a new door for students — a gateway to a wider world where knowledge and experience intersect.
As the roadshow concluded, each student likely left with their own reflections: excitement, clearer orientation, or a growing sense of readiness for the vibrant learning journey ahead. The Faculty of Finance and Banking extends sincere appreciation to all lecturers, FHNW representatives, parents, and especially the K64 students for making this roadshow truly meaningful and memorable.
