Seminar on “Postgraduate Pathways in Finance and Banking”

On September 18, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Foreign Trade University successfully organized a seminar titled “Postgraduate Pathways in Finance and Banking,” with the theme “Creating Future Value in the Digital Era.”

The seminar was honored to welcome:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Việt Dũng, Dean of the Faculty;
Dr. Nguyễn Văn Cảnh, Vice Dean of the Graduate School;
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trần Trung Dũng, Vice Dean of the Faculty;
together with faculty members.

The event attracted a large number of doctoral candidates, master’s students, and undergraduate students aspiring to pursue advanced academic study. The seminar also featured distinguished speakers and industry professionals including:
Mr. Lê Quý Bảo, Investment Director at 24hmoney;
Mr. Trần Văn Tuấn, Managing Lawyer at IDB Vietnam Law Firm, alumnus of the Master in Finance and Banking (K28B) and doctoral candidate (K2A);
and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Việt Dũng, Dean of the Faculty.

The program began with an overview of postgraduate programs in Finance and Banking at FTU, presented by Dr. Nguyễn Đỗ Quyên, Lecturer of the Faculty. Following this, Mr. Lê Quý Bảo delivered a keynote presentation on “The Digital Era in the Finance and Banking Sector,” offering practical insights into the industry’s profound transformation amidst digitalisation.

A dynamic roundtable discussion titled “Postgraduate Journey in Finance and Banking at FTU: Creating Future Value” then took place, where speakers shared valuable experiences drawn from their academic and professional journeys — inspiring young participants with direction and motivation. The Q&A session received great interest, reflecting the aspirations of graduate students, doctoral candidates, and undergraduates eager to learn and shape their future pathways.

The Faculty of Finance and Banking extends sincere appreciation to all speakers for their insightful contributions, as well as to faculty members, doctoral candidates, master’s students, and students whose engagement contributed to the success of the event.
