On November 29, 2025, representatives of the Party Cell Committee and the Trade Union of the Faculty of Finance and Banking participated in a series of activities organized by Foreign Trade University in Sa Pa, Lao Cai. These included the 2025 Training Conference on Party Organization Development and Inspection and Supervision, the Review Conference of Trade Union Activities for the 2024–2025 Academic Year, and professional training programs for Trade Union and Youth Union officers of FTU.
The conferences were attended by:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Thu Hương, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of FTU;
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thị Thu Thủy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of the University Council Executive Board;
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đào Ngọc Tiến, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice President;
Dr. Phùng Mạnh Hùng, Chairman of the FTU Trade Union;
Ms. Đào Thị Thu Hà, Vice Chairwoman of the FTU Trade Union;
Ms. Phạm Như Quỳnh, Head of the Party and Mass Organizations Office;
together with members of Party Cell Committees, Executive Boards of Trade Unions, affiliated Trade Unions, Trade Union groups, and the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of FTU.
Representing the Faculty of Finance and Banking were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Việt Dũng, Party Cell Secretary and Dean of the Faculty, along with faculty members from the Party Cell Committee and the Faculty Trade Union Executive Board.
In her keynote address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Thu Hương emphasized FTU’s strategic vision to advance into the group of leading universities in Asia, grounded in high-quality student intake, strong faculty capacity, and effective implementation of resolutions on scientific research, international cooperation, and university–industry linkages.
At the conference, the FTU Trade Union presented commendations to outstanding collectives and individuals, while also honoring units with notable achievements in the “Green Corner – Green University” movement—an initiative that promotes the spirit of green living, learning, and working across the University.

Second Prize in the “Green Corner – Green University” movement, contributing to the shared goal of building an FTU that is “Green and Happy”
The training conference was a great success, reinforcing solidarity, responsibility, and collaboration among members of the Party Cell Committee and the Trade Union of the Faculty of Finance and Banking. It also serves as a strong foundation for the Faculty Trade Union to continue contributing actively to FTU’s rapid and sustainable development in the coming period.
