Following the official invitation from CFA Community Vietnam, the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Foreign Trade University announces the selection of a representative team from FTU Hanoi to participate in the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025–2026.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a prestigious global competition organized by the CFA Institute (USA), bringing together university teams in economics and finance from around the world. The challenge evaluates students’ abilities in company analysis, valuation, reporting, and presentation. The national champion will represent Vietnam in the Asia-Pacific Regional Final.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must:

Be a student from Cohort K61, K62, or K63 at FTU Hanoi.

Have participated in and achieved notable results in finance-related student competitions.

Demonstrate interest, passion, and willingness to pursue a career in finance.

Have strong English skills in writing, reading, and presenting.

Possess teamwork capability.

Commit adequate time to the competition.
-
Passing CFA Level 1 is an advantage.

An investment summary and one section from an equity research report on any company of choice (options include: Business Description, Industry Overview & Competitive Positioning, Valuation, Financial Analysis, Investment Risks, and ESG). Guidance for each section is available via the provided link.

A presentation video (maximum 5 minutes) elaborating on the content in item 3.
