On December 8, 2020, the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Foreign Trade University held an “Activation Day” for new students of high quality Banking and International Finance and advanced Banking- Finance programs. Attending the event were Assoc. Prof, Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung – Dean, Dr. Phan Tran Trung Dung – Vice Dean, along with lecturers of the Faculty of Finance and Banking. On the guest side, there were Dr. Le Duc Khanh – Director of Analysis Division of VPS securities company and Mr. Ta Thanh Thao – Branch Manager of SSI Le Van Luong. In
addition, the program also welcomed online participation from the representative of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) – Mr. Markus Freiburghaus – Program Director and Ms. Kopfli Corinne – Assistant Professor. cooperation in Southeast Asia.
The new students had the opportunity to get answers for questions about difficulties when studying Banking and Finance from Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung and the guests. Many concerns such as how to choose a career, what certificate to study for in the coming years, or internship were answered by the lecturers and guests. With specific orientations, new students can map out a clear learning strategy, close the gap between theory and practice.
Contributing to the success of Activation Day 2020 are the musical performances, especially the impressive magic show from the new students K59 high quality Banking and International Finance and advanced Finance – Banking programs. Not only surprising the teachers, guests and the audience, the students have been showing the true spirit of FTU students – dynamic, confident and individual.
