The Faculty of Banking and Finance, Foreign Trade University is proud to be officially recognized by CFA Institute (USA) as a partner program from June 2018.
As part of the CFA University Affiliate Program, students of the University have the opportunity to apply for the CFA Student Scholarship. For the scholarship, students pay only $350 to take the exam at each level of the CFA Program including all materials and other learning tools provided by the CFA Institute (Cost of taking the exam otherwise There are scholarships of $1150-$1450). The scholarship is valid for 01 year from the date the student is officially accepted.
In the academic year 2022 – 2023, the Faculty of Banking and Finance will continue to consider awarding 03 scholarships to excellent and suitable students of the University.
Conditions for application:
– The scholarship is only granted to students of the Bachelor’s program for the CFA Level 1 exam; only to students of the Master’s program for the CFA Level 2 exam.
– Students who have not registered and paid the CFA exam fee as of the time of receiving the scholarship.
– Meet the requirements for the CFA program of CFA Institute (Link: https://bit.ly/cfarequirement).
– Have passion for the field of finance – investment; commit to participate and complete CFA certification.
Application Process:
1. Students create and log in to a CFA Institute membership account at: https://www.cfainstitute.org/
(Students who already have a CFA Institute membership account do not need to perform this step)
2. Visit the official page of the CFA Student scholarship at: https://bom.so/5sdSvL for information related to the scholarship.
3. Visit the page: https://cfai.smapply.io/ to officially submit the application related to the scholarship.
4. At the scholarship application upload step, students upload the following documents:
a. Curriculum Vitae (CV), which clearly states the student’s achievements and extracurricular activities. The Faculty of Banking and Finance gives priority to students who actively participate and have prizes at student competitions in Finance – Investment.
b. Motivation letter: Clearly state why the Faculty of Banking and Finance should choose you.
c. Official transcripts of students up to the end of HK2, academic year 2022 – 2023
d. Copies of relevant certificates and certificates (Save in 1 scanned file)
Deadline for scholarship application: 16/7/2023. All applications submitted after this time will not be accepted.
Scholarship recipients will be contacted by the Faculty of Banking and Finance by July 23, 2023.
