EXTERNAL EVALUATION OF THE MASTER’S PROGRAM IN FINANCE AND BANKING ACCORDING TO AUN-QA STANDARDS (ASIAN UNIVERSITY NETWORK – QUALITY ASSURANCE) In order to enhance the quality of education to meet international standards, from July 12 to 15, 2021, Foreign Trade University collaborated with the Asian University Network (AUN) to organize an online external evaluation of the Master’s Program in Finance and Banking. This evaluation was conducted alongside the Advanced Bachelor Program in International Business Administration and the Advanced Bachelor Program in International Economics. The AUN-QA evaluation team worked with the university, the Faculty of Finance and Banking, and the Graduate School to assess the Master’s Program in Finance and Banking based on 11 standards. Additionally, interviews and feedback sessions were organized with lecturers, support staff, students, alumni, and employers to provide an objective evaluation of the program. The closing ceremony of the evaluation took place online on July 16, 2021. Attending the ceremony from Foreign Trade University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy – Chairwoman of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong – Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien – Vice President, heads of the training programs, and heads of other university departments. Representing AUN-QA, the ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Marilou G. Nicolas – Head of the evaluation team, along with other evaluation experts. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung – Head of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, head of the self-evaluation team, along with members, lecturers, support staff, and stakeholders of the Master’s Program in Finance and Banking also participated in the ceremony. At the closing ceremony, on behalf of the evaluation team, Prof. Dr. Allan B. De Guzman from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines, and Prof. Dr. Sany Sanuri bin Mohd. Mokhtar from Universiti Utara Malaysia, two AUN-QA evaluation experts, presented a brief report on the evaluation results, highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and proposed solutions to enhance the quality of the Master’s Program in Finance and Banking at Foreign Trade University.
