Accepting the official invitation from the organizers, the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Foreign Trade University is announcing the recruitment of a team to participate in the CFA Institute Research Challenge. This is an international competition organized by the CFA Institute, USA, where representatives from universities worldwide compete to demonstrate their analytical, valuation, reporting, and presentation skills on a chosen company. The CFA RC 2021 – 2022 will be held from September 18, 2021, to January 15, 2022, to select the best team in Vietnam to participate in the Asia-Pacific regional competition. (https://bit.ly/3rI31Yb).
Due to the complex developments of the pandemic, the CFA RC 2021 – 2022 will be conducted ONLINE.
📌 Eligibility Criteria:
Students who are passionate and have capabilities in finance and business.
Current students of cohorts K57/K58/K59 from Foreign Trade University (priority is given to K58 students with good knowledge and skills in Finance).
Teamwork skills.
Proficiency in English for writing, reading, and presenting.
COMMITMENT to dedicating time for the competition.
Passing the CFA Level 1 exam is a plus.
❗Competition Format:
Students can form groups of 3-5 members or register with the organizers to be grouped.
Teams will prepare a report on a company whose shares are listed and traded on the Vietnamese stock market (selecting a company with a high level of financial transparency).
The organizers will select SUITABLE teams to present before the Faculty’s judging panel.
Information on the selection time and format will be sent directly to registered students/team representatives.
⚠️ Note: Submitting a CV and a letter of intent IN ENGLISH is necessary for the organizers to understand you. We encourage detailed submissions. The organizers will select the MOST SUITABLE members to represent the university in the competition.
